West African Ventures is able to provide a wide range of offshore assets and onshore marine support facilities for the global oil and gas industry. WAV owns and operates a diverse fleet of over 180 vessels, an onshore supply base and fabrication yard, and a marine support and service base.
Since the late 1970's and during the 1980's the company has been providing marine support services in the shallow offshore waters and inland waterways of the Niger Delta. During the 1990's the company expanded further and acquired new and larger vessels operating in the offshore oil producing regions of Nigeria and West Africa.
In 2002 West African Ventures commenced a major building programme to develop a fleet of large, multi capability offshore DP-3 construction / accommodation vessels. Today West African Ventures operates 5 newly built DP-3 construction / accommodation vessels and one is under construction.
