Warri Base development commenced in 1981 when West African Ventures (WAV) aquired the land for the period up to 2031. Base plot area is 11.4 acres with a 90 meter water front along Enerhen river. The access to the Sea through Warri river to Escravos with fast boat is two hours. The base renders support services to offshore vessels and WAV project for Escravos and surrounding offshore locations.

At Warri Base the company provides hire services of various models of GRP personnel carriers and landing crafts. The base operates and maintains these boats with facilities of a maintenance workshop, slip way and floating pontoon.

Warri Base also provides hire services of inshore pusher tugs, self propelled barges, flat top and ramp barges. For maintenance of these bigger vessels  the company has 44m of piled jetty and 500 ton lifting capacity floating dry dock.


Marine Support and Service Base - Warri is located at Afatakpa Close, Opposite Coca-Cola Depot Enerhen/Effurun Road, Enerhen Warri, Delta State.
